Photo Albums

An important aspect of documenting the past is the photographic material that comprises the "family" albums of the Italian immigrants. The Celebrating Alberta's Italian Community Oral History Project has revealed a range of such excellent material and we have created virtual photo albums to accompany the oral history profiles. We would like to acknowledge the contributions to these resources of the following families and individuals: Biollo-Doyle family of Venice, Alberta, and Edmonton; the Roncucci Family; the Cavaliere Family; the Amodio Family; the Urso Family; the Albi Family; Fiore Vecchio; the Gatto Family; the Spinelli Family; National Congress of Italian-Canadians, Edmonton District, Heritage Days Festival, 2002; the Lazio Association; the Donne del Santo Rosario, Santa Maria Goretti Parish; Club Calabria; Coalhurst Mine Disaster Project; and the Romulus and Remus, Lethbridge Italian Society.
